I am a degree in art history. After I finished university, I visited all the kindergartens and schools in Aachen: I helped children bring to life and tell the stories of art works by famous painters. Later, I trained these children to be child tour guides, and wrote a book about the 1200-year-old Aachen Dome.

In 2006 I and my husband Albrecht and my daughter moved to Hungary. In 2010 we founded our foundation Világszép Foundation. From the very beginning I myself have been involved in the life of the foundation as a volunteer for several of our programs, and not only as a manager of strategic issues. Because of my eternal optimistic nature, I feel that I have to take my favourite quote from the Hungarian writer, Karinthy: “That here I am, perhaps for days to come/ As witness to the shining of the sun.” Today in Hungary, Child Protection Professional Care is certainly such a place.
